Dana Wood is a Metis Registered Herbalist in Beausejour, Manitoba and a Professional Member of the Ontario Herbalists Association.

Dana holds two diplomas in Herbal Medicine and Bio-Chemical Engineering Technology. With over 25 years of combined experience as a Clinical Herbalist, Quality Lab Technologist, Research Scientist, Published Author and Keynote Speaker, you can rest assured that she will work to the best of her knowledge and experience to address the root cause of your health issues using a natural herbal-based approach.

She has been practicing Clinical Herbalism since 2015 and has consulted with over 4000 patients; safely compounding herbal medicine on an individual basis. Prior to compounding your herbal medicine, she will check for herb-drug interactions each and every time to ensure the utmost safety when integrating multiple therapies. She will carefully custom compound herbal medicine for your whole family; including your pets.

Dana is also a teacher of traditional and science-based herbal medicine and is often asked to lead medicine walks and wellness events for larger groups.

Dana's Inspiration.....

When her teenage daughter Darah passed away from Ewing Sarcoma cancer at the age of only 14 years old, Dana was immediately inspired to look deeper into traditional spiritual and herbal medicine of the early indigenous peoples with hopes of incorporating these practices with conventional and science-based medicine as an integrative and all-encompassing holistic approach to healing. This is what brought her to fulfill her passion of becoming a herbal practitioner.
